The Team

While investing in this sector requires a patient and strategic approach, it is also important to identify new long-term trends and opportunities. With the Natural Resources team’s experience in the sector and the contacts they have made over the years, the team is often aware of developments early on, which gives them a great advantage in positioning their portfolios appropriately.

The team is based in our London office and consists of ten portfolio managers and one analyst. Six of the team's ten portfolio managers are geologists/geophysicists/engineers – a definite advantage for successful investment in this area.

Portfolio managers are responsible for both research and portfolio management, supported by research and investment ideas from analysts.

A dedicated product specialist deals with everyday client queries and investment communications, allowing portfolio managers to focus on running their funds with a minimum of distraction.
